Cape #2 is inspired by the bold, saturated colours of North West Australia. The intense blue of sea and sky meeting the warmth of red earth creates a clarity that feels both expansive and grounding. In this work, a red plane sits within transparent blue glass, allowing light to pass through and reflect across its curved form, altering the perception of space. The vessel holds and intensifies colour, shifting as the viewer moves around it. The piece explores how light, structure and landscape memory converge within a single contained volume.
