Travel Light

Travel Light transforms found suitcases into carriers of memory, movement, and story. Through layered marks, symbols, and pathways, Darryl Dempster reflects on journeys across Country, both physical and emotional. The suitcase becomes a vessel holding what is needed and releasing what is not. Lines move like tracks, gestures echo lived experience, and space is left for reflection. This work speaks to resilience, transition, and the strength found in carrying culture while moving forward. Travel Light invites us to consider what we hold close as we walk with Country and story.
