Urban Veins II continues my research on the relationship between urban expansion and nature.
In this work, I explore the steady and relentless growth of the built environment as it extends into natural space. The drawing reflects the tension between constructed structures and the fragile ecosystems they displace. A dense network of overlapping lines and grids creates a layered architectural field, suggesting accumulation and occupation.
The contrast between dense and open areas highlights loss and imbalance, while strong diagonal lines introduce disruption and direction – expressing the tensions between natural flow and imposed urban order.
