This work is wood-fired using timber the artist has grown, and explores notions of meaning arising from the land. Scambler has been working in clay for over 40 years. He has taught as a sessional lecturer at Fremantle Tech, Edith Cowan University and Curtin University. Multiple award winner who exhibits regularly. Major exhibition and monograph in 2018 at Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery, The University of Western Australia. Included in collections such as the Art Gallery of Western Australia, The University of Western Australia, City of Fremantle, the State Library of Queensland and many other interstate and international institutions and private collections.
