| Three Wise Them is a work that represents being in harmony with reality and going with the natural flow of life, regardless of race, gender and learned behaviours, it is about acceptance of what is.
Brent Ekholm is a multidisciplinary artist inspired by the urban world and seeks solace in the natural world and transcendental philosophy. His art practice is highly intuitive and process driven with works ranging from found object assemblage to greatly refined paintings. Ekholm utilises realism in painting for representation of the everyday mundane subjects, but feels most at home with abstraction. He lives and works in Whadjuk Nyungar Boodjar and is currently completing a BFA at Curtin University. |
