Bronwyn Brims – Lost
$240
Red-tailed black cockatoo populations are vulnerable in south-west Western Australia due to land clearing. The feathers in my painting were from a friend when he found a deceased red-tail. On examination the feathers are estimated to be from a juvenile female red-tail, what would have been a potential future breeder. The broken and damaged feathers are a representation of all that humans will have left of black cockatoos if changes don’t happen with land clearing. |
