I am drawn to subjects that contain light, movement and colour. Growing up in Western Australia, I have been blessed to spend time in rural and coastal settings, which currently form the primary subjects of my works.

Oil pastels allow me to apply pigment directly to the surface in loose and vigorous ways with the final work containing many layers of line work and wax, which upon close inspection reveal the history of the work’s creation.
