My works are inspired by elements of nature and our outback landscape. Each piece is created using powdered and sheet glass in the Pate de Verre technique.

Fallen Leaf is made in the ‘cracked Earth’, crackle style. Kiln formed in two firings, first to fuse the powdered glass to the sheet, then the second, the ‘Slump’ to create the leaf or bowl shape.

My choice of colours are inspired by the landscape of the region and the rough texture reflects the forms and contours of the land.
