| Reflection helps us to develop ourselves and examine our place in the world around us, rather than just carrying on doing things as we have always done before.
My artwork is a reflection on the past year of my life, as there have been many challenges that were thrown my way. Through these experiences, I have taken a step back to gain perspective on what matters and what can be ignored. I have portrayed these thought processes through a self-portrait that sits in a solitary and contemplative state within a minimal and distorted colour palette. |
