In the last 20 years my focus has been in acrylics and collage. I have developed a technique of using layers of coloured tissue paper under and over the painted surface. This gives the surface a three-dimensional textural quality. I am often literally painting with paper.

Paperbark Lullaby is about the calming meditative, reflective essence of nature.

The land and the water are integrated. Water gives life to form and the form, (land and trees) are reflected in the water. Water is a mirror of our subconscious, but often those thoughts/images are veiled and distorted just as the patterns in the water shimmer, shift, dissolve and dance before our eyes. They are like a lullaby singing us to sleep, or a moment of clarity that allows us to be at peace and one with nature.
