James Dudding – born 1987, lives and works in Perth, Western Australia. I have pursued developing multidisciplinary works that explore subjects that are equally mundane and sublime. Drawn to time and humanity, my work is conceptually focused and catalysed by personal theories or mythologies to create ambitious, often large-scale works using a wide variety of materials and media. The paradoxical nature of order and chaos inspire my work, but the frequently bombastic and kinetic energy belies an introspective and empathic ideology.
