I currently practice a variety of artistic mediums including oil painting, cinematography, photography, visual effects and video editing. I produce environmental videos and corporate videos in Perth and in the regions of Western Australia. I actively paint with oils as well and enjoy the attention to detail and process of refining work to a finished level of quality. Selecting images to paint very much ties into my photographic and video work but painting does allow a certain freedom to express ideas and explore subjects and that I enjoy.

I am heavily influenced by contemporary art that conveys ideas relating to nature, landscape and country Australia. My background is in the country around Jennacubbine in WA’s Wheatbelt region and I have a strong connection to the land from my childhood. My background, family history and my work has inspired many of my paintings.
